Hunting Adventure
By Anna K

It is ice cold winter and I can barely feel my callused hands. I am crouching on a rock with a spear thrower in one hand and a spear in another. Most of my tribe is back at our cave, I wish I was there, it seems so warm. I take my spear and pitch it with my spear thrower. I hit a buffalo and it falls on the ground. I run over to it while feeling the rocks scatter beneath my feet. My partners and I carry it back to the cave. It is very heavy on our bare arms. When we reach the cave dinner is ready. We have hunting meat from yesterday for dinner. It tastes warm compared to the chill weather outside. After dinner the hunting men and I paint a picture. It is a horse. This painting is a horse that is supposed to resemble the magical relations between people and animals. We spend about two hours on this painting and then go to bed. It was an exiting and adventurous day.
